Dog has obsessive licking problem: ideas and comments please!
My little dog has this licking issue, she licks everything and constantly licks herself. It is driving me batty, but it is also worrying me. Is there any solution to this problem?

Dog OCD or Allergy?
If this is a compulsive thing from when your dog was a puppy, then it will be really hard to stop your pup from licking. OCD is a mental illness of sorts and you can't punish her for being OCD.
However, did you ever look into food allergies? Maybe she is allergic to something in her food or environment? I have heard that wheat allergies can make a dog itchy.

Come to think of it..
It may be that your dog as a puppy was locked up for too long in its den or taken away from its mum too early, so its licking is a nervous disorder and you need a doggy psychologist to help you out maybe?
