Recommendations for Cat Allergists?

Have you thought of a holistic vet?
If I had this challenge, I'd check with a holistic vet who might be able to treat the allergy via more natural methods. I've heard wonderful things about Dr. Sara Skiwski, who runs the Western Dragon Clinic in San Jose. It's a bit of a drive for us San Mateo folks, but would be worth at least a consultation. Note that in the comments for Dr. Sara, Stephanie took her lab to her for allergies, and he's no longer taking is allergy medicine.

My kitty cat is constantly grooming, nibbling and pulling out her hair. We think she has a skin allergy. We've been to our regular vet but he is at a loss. Can anyone recommend a pet allergist? Is there anyone who could post this also to the dog forum? I think that the pet allergists probably treat both. I am in the San Mateo, CA area. Thanks in advance!
