Report a Lost Pet

We are here to help you!

There are many people who are motivated to help you get your pet home quickly and safely. One key partner is your local shelter. Visiting the shelter in person is a critical first step to alert them of your pet's status. They then have important first-hand information that will empower them and aid you in getting your pet identified as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Remember, as great as technology is, it can sometimes fail. Don't think that just because your pet is chipped that your shelter will be able to automatically read it. Also remember that one person's description of a pet may be different from another's. Being there in person - to see the animals that have been brought to the shelter, is the one concrete step that ensures your pet gets home to you quickly if they do arrive there.

Using the power of the internet, you will want to do the following to get started:

Sassy06/19/2008 - 23:52Sassy is very scared - she just flew in from Texas, and bolted from the Continental Airlines holding area. Last seen in the marsh area by the airport. IF YOU CAN SAFETY CONFINE SASSY, DO SO AND CALL PHS/SPCA, BUT DO NOT FEED SASSY IF YOU SEE HER OR LEAVE FOOD IN AN AREAS WHERE SHE WAS SPOTTED. THE HUMANE SOCIETY HAS SET HUMANE TRAPS, BAITED WITH FOOD. THESE WILL ONLY BE EFECTIVE IF SASSY ENTERS ONE FOR FOOD. Call PHS and they will help retrieve her.94128
