Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today signed into law a bill that protects animals after their owners die. This is expected to reduce the burden on our already overwhelmed shelters.
“Pets are an important part of the American family,” said Yee, author of the Bill. “SB 685 will
make pet trusts enforceable and assure that the wishes of pet owners are
respected.”
